Description Join us on this incredible winter in Slovenia photography workshop as we explore breathtaking alpine scenes.
Using Lake Bled and the Triglav National Park as our base, we’ll be exploring and capturing snowy mountain peaks, turquoise rivers, frozen waterfalls, glacial lakes and frosted hilltop churches. At this time of year, the light is good all day; sunrises come later and sunsets earlier and we'll be out to capture both every day.
The winter weather in the mountains can be changeable... we could be photographing in bright, clear conditions or battling snow blizzards so although I have run several workshops here at other times of year, I have teamed up with a Slovenian photographer and workshop guide whose local knowledge will be invaluable to help us respond to the winter weather and help us to be in the right place at the right time.

Anybody! An understanding of the basics will be useful but any tuition is tailored to the individual so this course is suitable for photographers of all levels - anyone looking to improve their landscape photography and enjoy a photography trip and a few laughs, with a small group of like-minded people.

On my workshops, every detail is taken care of from the transport, delicious food, comfortable private rooms to the stunning locations so you can relax and concentrate on enjoying the photography.
The workshop fee covers:

This workshop is based around Easy Jet flights from London Gatwick to Ljubljana but please do not book flights until I confirm that the workshop has sufficient bookings to go ahead. I will be in touch with the recommend flights and the meeting details closer to the time.

The deposit is £250, payable on booking then I will email a final invoice due 6 weeks before the date of the workshop.

Yes. There will be an image review session via Zoom which is not only an opportunity to receive critique on your work but to see and discuss the photos that others have taken during the trip. I’ll record this session for anyone who can’t make it.

We will be staying at a cosy hotel (to be confirmed) in Bled in the heart of the Triglav National Park with the lake on our doorstep.

No. All rooms are private double rooms with ensuite bathroom.

During the workshop all transport is provided, you just have to get yourself to Slovenia and back.
