Description Join us on a photographic journey to Madeira, a volcanic island where soaring cliffs and rock stacks are pounded by Atlantic waves, fairytale laurel forests are shrouded by mist, and winding levadas lead to hidden viewpoints. We’ll chase dramatic light, shifting weather, and bold compositions—from rugged coastlines to cloud-wrapped peaks—while taking time to slow down, refine technique, and enjoy the view. A trip designed for photographers who love wild scenery and atmosphere.
On my workshops, every detail is taken care of from the transport, delicious food, comfortable private rooms to the stunning locations so you can relax and concentrate on enjoying the photography. I pride myself on providing plenty of personal tuition, so numbers are limited to 5 participants to enable me to spend plenty of time with everyone.
A detailed information sheet will be sent out when you book but if you have any questions please contact me on info@justinminns.co.uk

The walks are mostly short and flat but there are some longer, uneven or steeper paths and rocky beaches. We have plenty of time and I always aim to balance rewarding locations with a comfortable pace. I also have an assistant with me on my workshops to ensure everyone is ok during the walks while I lead the way. If you have concerns about fitness or mobility, let me know and I can advise.

I encourage participants to share their experiences, and love to see your images. Please feel free to mention the workshop or tag me when posting, and respect others’ privacy by asking before tagging or sharing photos of fellow participants.
