Description A summer workshop in the the Peak District National Park. Centred around the Hope Valley and the dark and dramatic gritstone edges in the east of the area.
With the heather in bloom across the moors, the Peak District will be looking at its most colourful at this time of year and we'll be out with the camera capturing these landscapes when the light is (hopefully) at its best around sunrise and sunset. Back at the hotel we will also spend some time processing the images using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop .

I do have several sets of filters for those who do not have them to use on the day and I will be on hand to offer expert advice on how, when and why to use them. Although I partner with Kase filters, I have worked with other filter brands and as such can give individual advice on choosing filters, as well as a discount code, to anyone who needs it.

This workshop involves some reasonably long walks, some are uphill with the occasional steeper sections and paths are often uneven but we have plenty of time and I always aim to balance rewarding locations with a comfortable pace. I also have an assistant with me on my workshops to ensure everyone is ok during the walks while I lead the way. If you have concerns about fitness or mobility, let me know and I can advise.
-
I encourage participants to share their experiences, and love to see your images. Please feel free to mention the workshop or tag me when posting, and respect others’ privacy by asking before tagging or sharing photos of fellow participants.
