Ferry Fest Felixstowe

Nestled at the mouth of the river Deben, to the north of Felixstowe is a ramshackle collection of cottages, fishing shacks, a rather nice pub and an awful lot of boats, known as Felixstowe Ferry. This tiny village with it's timeless charm is hosting it’s first arts festival, Ferry Fest Felixstowe, this August bank holiday weekend.

On the programme are musicals, dance workshops, exhibitions, craft stalls, boat rides and treasure hunts amongst other things and I was lucky enough to be invited to contribute. My part will be an exhibition of Suffolk coastal photography held upstairs in the sailing club (where there's a lovely terrace overlooking the River Deben), I’ll be there all weekend so if you’re in the area pop in and say hello.

I’ll also be organising a photo walk around this often overlooked part of the coast, in the evening on Saturday 25th. The emphasis of the walk is 'seeing the photo' and we'll be focusing our attentions on capturing the details, tickets are available from my website for the bargain price of £15 per person
