Landscape Photographer of the Year 2018

It's that time of year again and I'm pleased to announce that this time round I have had three images commended in the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. It was one of the Landscape Photographer of the Year books which first sparked my imagination and showed me what could be done with photography so it’s always amazing to be part of the collection.

My images, all taken around East Anglia, will appear alongside all the other successful images in this year's book, with one of them also appearing as a print and the other two as digital images in the exhibition to be held at Waterloo Station, London from 19th November 2018 until the 3rd February 2019.

Congratulations to all the winners and finalists and commiserations to those who didn’t make it this time round. I’m sure from the 17,000 or so entries received, the judges could have easily filled several books with beautiful images so there is always an element of luck involved and besides, competitions are no measure of quality, the results of any photography competition are just an opinion and it’s far more important to enjoy and get satisfaction from what you do.
