Landscape Photographer of the Year 2017

It's that time of year again and I'm pleased to announce that for the third year running one of my images has been commended in the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.

The previously unpublished image was taken late on a December afternoon in dramatic light after a heavy shower at a windswept Shingle Street on the Suffolk coast. It will appear alongside all the other successful images in this year's book and as a digital image in the exhibition to be held at Waterloo Station, London from 20th November 2017 until the 4th February 2018.

Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. I'm quite sure, when you consider how many thousands of quality images were entered, that luck played some part in making it to the end but nonetheless, this year's collection of images looks fantastic and I'm proud to be included.
